VCDA is an organization of individuals who are interested in working together on community development issues of importance to Vermonters.
Members are from the private, non-profit and public sectors and work for state and local government, consulting firms, non-profit organizations and for profit businesses.
In 1978, the Vermont Community Development Association formed to address community development opportunities that are available through the HUD Community Development Block Grant and other federal grant programs.
Since that time, we have expanded to cover a broader array of issues and have conducted many educational programs so that practitioners in the field can improve their knowledge and effectiveness.
