To these ends, VCDA:

  • Informs the general public
  • Advocates for public and private resources that strengthen community development
  • Provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and collaborative action

How We Do It

VCDA holds informative meetings four to six times a year at various locations around the state on issues identified by its members. 

These include:

  • Revolving Loan Funds
  • Downtown Development and Sprawl
  • Livable Wages and Job Training
  • Brownfields
  • Affordable housing options
  • Quality employment opportunities
  • Micro-enterprise development
  • Agricultural viability
  • Economic development and recovery
